SEPT 3 Elevate Xchange Future of America Forum: KEYNOTE Brian Lantz with Promethean Action on our US Restructuring with Physical Economy & AI Brian Lantz is an expert in the almost forgotten science of physical economy. After undergraduate studies in economics at the University of Washington, Lantz went to work as a political organizer, policy activist, economic researcher, and writer. Over fifty years, he has engaged in the national and international dialogue on economic policy and developed an in-depth knowledge of political economy—the area where economics and politics meet. Brian writes and has lectured in areas as diverse as California, Virginia, Michigan and Texas.

The book became available on Amazon on Election Day, November 4th, 2024. Drawing on decades of experience in the political trenches and a deep knowledge of the American System of Political Economy, Brian there paints a detailed, optimistic picture of the potentials to organize the recovery and expansive development of our great, but battered nation.
Throughout, the book provides a survey of America’s producers and the critical steps -- most importantly American capital investment -- towards accomplishing a qualitative leap in physical wealth, standards of living, and rising productivity. Throughout his professional career, Mr. Lantz has been a collaborator of noted U.S. statesman and economist Lyndon H. LaRouche (1922-2019), and a student of LaRouche’s science of physical economy and the American System of Political Economy. Brian now serves as a leading expert on the science of physical economy for Promethean Action, a now often cited source for strategic, geopolitical and economic insights for policy making.
Prior to that, Brian coordinated the Political Economy Taskforce of LaRouche PAC. In the 1980’s Brian served as the Northern California director of the National Democratic Policy Committee, an independent political action committee, attempting a revival of the leading concepts of John F. Kennedy and Franklin Roosevelt within the Democratic Party, ironically mirrored now by Trump’s call for “A Republican New Deal.” Over the years, Brian has given a series of classes and lectures on the historic economic writings of Alexander Hamilton (1757 1804), the recognized father of the “American System” of political economy and national credit.
An appreciation of Hamilton and the American System was the subject of Ambassador Jamieson Greer’s recent speech at the World Economic Forum, January 20, 2026, The Hamiltonian Economic System That Too Many Have Forgotten. Brian firmly believes that economic thinking becomes science to the extent that it can forecast and promote those creative discoveries and advances that assure the long arcs of scientific & technological progress for the benefit of mankind. Economic policy must be so grounded. Brian and his wife Evelyn have made their home in Houston, Texas for more than thirty years.
